Tucked behind a large group of palm trees you'll find Key West Wildlife Center. The center is located within Sonny McCoy Indigenous Park. With a focus on birds it is a safe haven for birds and also the place for a unique encounter with the local "gypsy chickens". The center’s job is to rescue, rehabilitate and release most of the native wildlife (wild birds, sea turtles, land turtles, marine mammals and land mammals). Entrance is free, but donations are welcome.
