The 'Terex' Titan known as the biggest truck in the world, was built in 1974 by General Motors of Canada. To get an idea of its size imagine the largest of the dinosaurs. Two buses and two pickups could fit in its box.
This gigantic truck was used for mine work in California, but in 1978 it was relocated in Sparwood in the nearby Elkview open pit mine.
Today you can see it just outside of the Sparwood Visitor Information Centre.
While traveling from Sparwood into the Crowsnest Pass, please do not forget to adjust your watch one hour forwards or vice versa. The Time zone ...
